About

Hi there, I’m Stacy Dyck, R.SLP S-LP(C). I’m a registered Speech-Language Pathologist in Alberta and a certified member of Speech-Language Audiology Canada (SAC).

I was born and raised in the Calgary area. I fell in love with helping kids learn to communicate when I worked as a special needs assistant. I moved away from Alberta for a time to pursue my masters degree in Communication Disorders at the University of Texas at Dallas. When I graduated in 2009, I moved back to Calgary and began my career in speech-language pathology working in early intervention. In 2012 I moved to private practice and opened Speech Kids Calgary.

I’m grateful for the opportunity I’ve been given to support so many children and their families!

I love getting to share in the excitement when…

…a child first starts talking

…grandparents can understand their grandkids on the phone without an interpreter

…reading becoming easier because we’ve been building foundational literacy skills

…a child makes a new friend because he or she has learned some social strategies

Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and two young kiddos, gardening, baking and cooking!
