Hi there, welcome to Speech Kids Calgary! I’m Stacy, a Calgary Speech-Language Pathologist. I specialize in providing speech-language therapy services to preschool and early elementary aged students.
Multi-Sensory Approach
I believe kids learn best when they use multiple senses (auditory, visual, tactile/touch, movement, etc.). Because of this, my goal is to provide speech-language therapy using a multi-sensory approach.
Speech-Language Therapy Services
I provide speech-language therapy support in the Calgary area, supporting kids with:
- Language delays
- Expressive Language – e.g., vocabulary, grammar/sentence structure
- Auditory Comprehension – e.g., listening skills, understanding and following directions, basic concepts
- Social communication delays and disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder
- I love incorporating Social Thinking (R) materials into my therapy sessions
- Speech delays and disorders
- Motor speech delays – e.g., Childhood Apraxia of Speech
- Articulation disorders
- Pre-literacy and literacy development
